Biking At Its Best The 'cradle of alpine skiing' is also an attraction in summer. Cycling fans in particular swarm to St. Anton am Arlberg from near and far. Because surrounded by the magnificent mountain scenery and unspoilt nature of St. Anton am Arlberg lie picture perfect areas for mountain bikers and the ideal point of departure for several racing bike tours.

Included in the entry fee is a high quality Finisher tricot and voucher for pasta. It is possible to redeem these vouchers on the 28.07.2012 between 16.00 and 22.00 hrs at ARLBERG-well.com or after crossing the finishing line on the 29. 07.2012 at one of the establishments in the pedestrian zone.

New: Team rating as of 6 persons (if there are more than 6 team members, the times achieved by the fastest 6 riders will be used).
New: „King of the Mountain“ and „Queen of the Mountain“ are new mountain classifications in 2012. Silvretta is calling!
13 km and a climb of 1,094 metres in altitude will need to be conquered in order to receive the well-earned title of “Mountain specialist” on crossing the finishing line.
A second timing facility will be installed at Partennen to allow each participant to determine their time separately at Bielerhöhe.
There are great prizes for the first three in every group. All registered start numbers will be entered in a raffle that will be drawn before the start of the race!
New: Team rankings: Large trophy for the first three teams. The winning team will also receive a voucher for the ARLBERG Giro 2013 incl. bed and breakfast accommodation from Saturday to Sunday.
New: Mountain category: Trophy for the fastest man and fastest woman
New: The five last finishers will receive a voucher from medical partners, Erlangen, for an overnight stay in a 4 star hotel in Erlangen (Germany) including a late riser breakfast for some active relaxation.
There will be a staggered start in groups, with a 2 minute interval. Timing does not begin until the starting line has been crossed.
Participants are responsible for assigning themselves to the following groups. To aid you in your choice, here is a short description of the individual groups.
Block (Group) 1 – Elite „Patteriol“: Expert amateur athletes
Block (Group) 2 – Semi-pro „Valluga“: Ambitious amateur athletes
Block (Group) 3 – Amateur „Galzig“: The journey is the reward – pleasure riders
Block (Group) 4 – Newcomer „Gampen“: Beginners and newcomers
The organisers reserve the right to allocate athletes to the relevant groups when required!
